A Luxurious Lakeside Yacht Club in the heart of Somerset.
Our magnificent Yacht Club is available to guests for holidays, weekend get-aways, parties or mid-week stop overs.
Built to be truly versatile and environmentally friendly, the Yacht Club is located on the shores of our private lake and offers an experience that you’ll find hard to match.
This self catering accommodation is best suited to couples or families of up to 4 people. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area opening out onto decking. At first floor level, there is one super king bedroom with separate shower room. In the adjoining room a small double sofa bed is available for extra guests.
If you fancy a night off cooking, you can either visit one of the many great country pubs within a short drive or we have a range of local caterers who can deliver delicious food to you.Our local village shop can also deliver groceries.
Whether you want a romantic stay or somewhere fun to stay with your family, the Yacht Club offers something truly special.
Enjoying the Outdoors and the Lake
While staying with us you’ll be able to spend time relaxing by our private lake or if you’d like something a bit more adventurous, we have a range of water-based activities you can enjoy. Our fleet comprises of stand up paddle boards, pedalos and a canoe all at your disposal, along with buoyancy aids. You are also welcome to do some fishing in the lake using our rods; we have carp, roach and trout. A barbeque is available for guests use as is a fire pit for those cooler nights. We welcome well behaved dogs.
Our location also offers our guests some of the very best walking routes that Somerset and Dorset has to offer, together with the coast and some fantastic shopping locations right on our doorstep. We are ideally located – under two hours from London (via a direct train line) and an hour from Bath, Bristol and Exeter, with easy transfers from local airports and train stations.
If you’re looking to host a party for a special occasion, whether it be a family birthday, business event or anything else the yacht club makes an ideal private venue. We can host up to 80 people in a marquee that can be positioned alongside the yacht club. This makes the Yacht Club the perfect location for summer events and parties from Spring through to Autumn.
